1. 18 January 2008 – The UKLSA was established.
2. ‘Obiter Dicta’ – Held in February 2008, this was the first inter-university careers event hosted by the Association.
3. Careers Event at Centre for Commercial Law Studies: Held in March, this event was headed by leading barristers and solicitors from the Serious Fraud Office. Students from five law schools attended the event. They enjoyed short speeches by the barristers, solicitors, pupils and other professionals and were given the opportunity to ask questions and mingle with the guests. This provided an informative session that also allowed for networking.
