Time: 7pm – 9pm
Location: Main Hall, The Honourable Society of the Inner Temple
Summary of the event
The event was aimed at law students and lawyers who support equal access to the legal profession and its aim was to further increase equal access. The event promoted meritocracy and success regardless of social background, age, disability, gender, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation or any other reason. As a result of the event, meritorious students who were apprehensive about applying for a career in the legal profession for any reason will have had their concerns addressed and be encouraged to apply.
After short speeches from leading members of the profession, students were invited to talk with a broad spectrum of members of the legal profession in an informal speed dating fashion over refreshments to have any questions they may have answered.

"Thank you so much for your wonderful presentation to the Law group. It was clear and informative. The students were talking about the information for the whole lesson afterwards!
