Mooting Competition 2012


CONGRATULATIONS out of 35 law schools the following teams so far have made it through to the quarter finals of the UKLSA moot competition 2011-2012:

The details for the final rounds are as follows:
 
The Final of the moot will take place on Tuesday 24th April 2012
 
The Agenda for the day will be as follows:
 
QUARTERS & SEMI’S
10am - 12 noon: Quarter Finals 
12 noon - 1pm: Break
1pm - 2pm: Semi Finals
2pm - 4pm : Lunch Break

4pm - 4.30pm: Arrive at the Supreme Court
5pm-6pm: Final Round
6pm-6.30pm: Prizes & Photographs

We are pleased to announce that the Supreme Court Justice, Lord Sumption has agreed to judge the final round. 

Therefore all second round competitions must be completed by the 9th April. On the 9th April at 9am we will release the final round moot problem to all 8 teams. This moot problem will be the same problem for the Quarters, Semi’s and Final Round. I
 must have received a copy of all skeleton arguments and the relevant bits of authority you wish to use to be forwarded onto the judges on the 16th April by 4pm
 
The venue for the Quarter’s/Semi’s is yet to be confirmed but they will take place at a central London location. Due to court restrictions each team may only bring two additional guests.
